This is a one off scratch built example of the late Masters art and of one of the most beautiful cars built.
This tin glazed copper bodied model is finished in the Rosso livery and comes with both opening doors with a perfectly replicated cockpit interior and opening bonnet with an absolute copy of the original three litre V12 single overhead camshaft Colombo designed engine.
The model like all of the Conti models is scratch built from copper, steel, brass, aluminium, wood, leather, rubber and perspex. Note the wrap around windscreen, the hand soldered aluminium spoked wheels set into solid rubber tyres, the hinged opening doors with chrome work interior furniture, the wood and aluminium steering wheel and the polished fuel filler cap to name just a few of the details.
Built in 1985, the car is set to a solid wood base with silver incised plaque and a certificate confirming the authenticity of the model.
