The Dan Gurney Belgium Grand Prix winning 1967 F1 Eagle Weslake. A unique fine quality limited edition scratchbuilt 1:12th scale model, one of only 10 to be built by SMTS World Collector is extremely pleased to be able to offer ten buyers the chance to own a never before scratchbuilt 1:12th scale SMTS model of the No.36 blue liveried 1967 Belgian Grand Prix winning Eagle Weslake. This is very much a one off, first come, first served opportunity and once all ten have been built, SMTS will build no more. The images below are of a model already built by SMTS but of the winning car in its later livery. The 10 bespoke models will all be of the No36 SPA car. Each model comes with a signed certificate of authenticity and has a removable nose section and removable engine cover body sections. The model benefits from the use of brass, aluminium and copper work; used to compliment the excellent resin work body; to include the chromed aluminium steering and suspension set up, the brass and copper spaghetti exhausts, the alloy work carburetors and the multitude of small parts to include the mechanical equipment housed in the nose section, the electric wiring, the minutely replicated fascia controls, mirrors, racing harness and more. The alloy finish wheels are clad in solid rubber finely moulded tyres and the 14 inch long model sits on a solid wood base.
